casual weekends...
Dress
up your go-to jeans and tee with some fun Cerulean accessories! You
can't go wrong with a Matta pom-pom scarf, made of silk and cotton in
the most luxurious weave. Everyone should have one in their closet. We
sell them season after season in dozens of colors. Then layer it with
some subtle gold jewels and a fun ethnic clutch! Its easy but just
special enough.
chic silver...
We are
obsessed with our new freshwater pearl and crystal necklaces that are
long and skinny and fabulous! They obviously looks great with cocktail
outfits and fun holiday ensembles, but we also love them with a casual
weekend look! We paired them with our wardrobe staple, the pewter flat
from All Black, and a jazzy purse for some punch! how many ways can you
wear these necklaces? One is shown here, but we like them layered two or
three at a time.
chic in gold and brown...
This
easy weekend outfit has just enough posh and pizazz, but its full of
smooth surfaces, in understated colors and soft fabrics. Take your
favorite pair of jeans and a clean neutral tee, and pile on these
fabulous accessories from cerulean. These same accessories look just as
good when paired with some dressy trousers and a silk top for an evening
out.
easy ethnic chic...
We
are in love with this casual look with pops of color and ethnic
inspiration! A blousy white cotton poet top is paired with skinny black
pants or leggings (to keep volume of the top from over powering your
frame) and topped with some colorful punches. The black and white
Yemeni-style scarf is trimmed in bright pink, orange and red tassel
trim. Throw on the super soft and comfortable orange flats, grab a
clutch and a pop of turquoise on the finger (what outfit doesn't look
good with a little pop of turquoise?? really...) and you are set to go.
Perfect for easy weekends running errands, visiting friends, and
enjoying some breezy sunshine!
soft and chic...
We
love these new soft cotton tops that we are calling "cerulean basics".
We've paired this chocolate mandarin collar version with tights and flat
riding boots- loving the mix of chocolate and gray! Such a simple top
can handle power-house accessories, so we've thrown in a gray agate
necklace, embroidered pumpkin bag in brown and gray tones, and a
super-soft pom pom scarf from Matta. While it is easy and casual, there
is something very interesting and luxurious about it. A soft but
inspiring mix of colors, the juxtaposition of hard and soft elements.
It's a winning weekend outfit.
dress it down...
We
love this graphic print, silky dress for so many occasions. It goes to
lunch with friends, to work with a suitable jacket, to a dinner party
with some sparkly heels. But we are loving it dressed down best. We are
pairing it with some chocolate brown flat riding boots that we've had
for years (and actually done some riding in!) with two layers of wrap
bracelets to toughen it up a bit. The earrings are simple and the scarf
is divine in a neutral color to tone down the colorful graphic print.
All together it make the perfect way to dress down a smashing party
dress!
casual fall...
We're
envisioning this outfit in a million places- as Indian Summers come to
an end and the temperatures drop, this outfit is running around town in
style. A breezy cotton top with delicate pleats is offset by a soft and
woolly scarf in turquoise stripes. We've paired it with some skinny
brown pants that stop above the ankle and the dark olive snakeskin
flats for an Audrey Hepburn-esque look. It's understated, ladlylike and approachable.
exotic flair…
We took your basic brown tank and your staple white jeans and gave them some real exotic splashes with a pink
and rust Indonesian scarf, incredibly unique pieces of jewelry, and
some bold pops of turquoise. This outfit is low maintenance enough to
wear to the park, but special enough to stop by your favorite watering
hole for cocktails.
beach bum…
There’s
no need to be a beach bum when you’re catching rays. A few special but
subtle accessories take your ho-hum bikini to the next level. A
gorgeously classic straw hat with gold band, some turquoise here and
there, and a fabulous straw basket make any trip the beach special. We
cant always jet off to the Caribbean but we can look like a million
dollars poolside in
Anytown,
USA.
weekend chic…
Our
favorite white jeans and brown tank get the special treatment with a
metallic leather bag from Matta, jade green fish scale ballets,
delicate drop earrings and a luscious cotton pareo. Not just for
covering up bikinis, these pareos make fabulous wraps when wound around
the neck a few times. Try one on for size with just about anything (but
keep your top fitted so you don’t turn into a big heap of fabric!).
chic shopping…
You're
on vacation, strolling around some idyllic town, window shopping,
perhaps stopping for luch at some adorable seaside cafe. What to wear?
We added these easy accessories to a basic brown tank and white jeans
(that everyone should have in their closet). The fabulous brown panama
hat will keep the sun off your face while you stroll, the silk and
cotton scarf can wrap around your shoulders as the sun goes down, or
keep off the chill when you step inside a store, and the fabulous
printed bowler can hold all your necessities (and maybe a few small
purchases too!). Easy pieces mix and match and are perfect for a trip
to the shore!
coral and turquoise at the beach…
We
never get enough of coral and turquoise. The colors are cool and fresh,
always chic and beachy. We paired turquoise earrings and thongs with
this coral paisley beach cover up. The gold orb ring is a simple
accessory for a casual day and the colorful moroccan basket adds an
exotic touch. What's not to love? Everyone should own these pieces.
simple weekends…
We
are obsessed with these fabric ballet flats and had to put together a
simple weekend outfit to work with them. The turquoise cotton and
floral print are accented by an oversized green plastic button. We love
to wear them with the green stone earrings, a delicate seashell "swept
away" neckalce, and a moroccan buckle basket. It is simple and chic,
comfortable and fun.
pink ladies…
Soft pale pink and white is accented with a pop
of purple silk for a demure but chic spring outfit. Wear your white
jeans with our pale pink cotton voile top adorned with tiny seedbeads,
and of course throw on your comfy Toms with espadrille soles- perfect
for warm weather! The natural canvas tote is the only carry-all you
will need this spring for running errands or hauling a change of
clothes for the beach!

With
all this talk about the economy and the unknown future, its enough to
make anyone a bit more cautious, and it has left us here at Cerulean
pondering the many ways to get big bang for your (dwindling) buck. As
far as your home is concerned, a fresh set of throw pillows can
transform your living room without having to overhaul big ticket items
like sofas and chairs. Same goes with your wardrobe- simply change out
for some fresh accessories and your outfits go from tired to fresh and
fabulous in a matter of minutes with little cost! Don't worry about
getting the entire outfit when a new scarf, some brightly colored
ballet flats or some exotic earrings can transform your current
wardrobe.
For
